an english post

Hola todos,

One post in english to satisfy the 1000 asks a day we have from english speaking people. (mes excuses pour les lecteurs non anglophones mais suite à un pari avec nos potes irlandais, je me dois de faire au moins un post en anglais)

So, thanks to Emma and Owen, I have decided to write this post in this f... langage which I can hardly speek whith some beers back. Now, if you promise me that you will follow our trip, I can try to post sometimes in english but I need to be sure of this by a commentary which you can do using the webtools available at the bottom of this page. Of course, it should be in french...

We are now in the bus to Puerto Madryn with Simon, Whilhelm and Peter crossing the pampa. The perflectly flat landscape is made of such a few things that it could be boring but it’s not. Bushes, electric posts and barbed wires give me an amazing feeling of serenity. Rare stops we’ve had in fuel stations have made this feeling stronger. I felt as if I was in Bagdad Cafe ( Wim Wenders’ film) with a lonely rusted fuel pompe, a surprised but happy old dog and a blue pickup which used to be driven some twenty years ago.

We should arrive in Puerto Madryn in a few hours and I’m affraid I don’t have so many things more to say before the Peninsula Valdes and the orchas. We would like to camp in Puerto Madryn and perhaps rent a car to get around there but nothing is planned yet.
